This painting is an original design that I created for my 2^nd daughter’s nursery for her child and my 3^rdgrandchild.  My daughter requested a jungle scene that included an Elephant, a Giraffe, and a Coqui Frog that is native to Puerto Rico and would pay homage to her late father-in-law’s heritage. I added the large Macaw to celebrate Brazil which is the birthplace of her husband. When all of these elements were placed on the canvas it became clear that a better fit for their heritage would be a Brazilian Rainforest that kept the Macaw and the Coqui Frog and added other native elements from Brazil, such as the Jaguars and the Waterfall.  And with this new directive, the Brazilian Rainforest was created.
